YANDEL DANGEROUS TOUR IS A BLASTING SUCCESS

Yandel Dangerous Tour started off in his hometown of Puerto Rico and ended in Orlando, Florida; coincidentally, where he currently resides with his family. The tour titled “Dangerous” after his most recent album with the same name took him to a total of 15 cities in the USA and Puerto Rico and included several of his colleagues such as DJ Lobo, Gadiel, Alexis & Fido, Plan B, and De La Ghetto as special guests which varied by city. I made my way to Orlando to enjoy the last concert of this part of the tour. The event started off backstage with a Meet & Greet with Yandel and some of his fans, and we later made our way back into the venue to enjoy the concert. Yandel performed in front of a packed house which took place at the House of Blues in Orlando. The concert opened with Gadiel who is Yandel’s younger brother and who also recently signed with Sony Music and just debuted his first album, Alto Rango. He was later followed by Alexis & Fido, DJ Lobo and finally De La Ghetto before Yandel hit the stage. It was a concert that ranged from old school reggaeton to Yandel’s most recent Billboard hits. He had everyone in attendance dancing and singing. This concert also had a special surprise guest: Farruko. Yandel sang with Farruko a few of their collaborations and then Farruko hit the stage alone for a few of his hits as well.

TWO GRAMMY’s AND MAJOR PARTNERSHIP WTH MONSTER

Yandel has been on a roll lately. During Latin GRAMMYs week his partnership with Monster Products was announced. The company announced their Latin Music Initiative to reach music fans in the U.S. and Latin America and enhance their music listening experience by teaming up with Yandel who in return is the first artist to join the Monster Community. Later that week and during the Latin GRAMMYs ceremony, Yandel won two Latin GRAMMYs for Best Urban Fusion/Performance and Best Urban Song both for his hit single “Encantadora”. The week after, Yandel also earned his ninth top 10 song on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart with his hit “Nunca Me Olvides”. Talk about ending the year on a high note! Yandel will be taking some very well deserved time off for the holidays but has mentioned there are plans to take his “Dangerous Tour” to Latin America and Europe next year.
