Today marks the start of the We Won’t Wait Summit in National Harbor, MD. The #WeWontWait2016 Summit brings together a group of powerful organizations that work to improve the conditions of women and families by elevating the voices of women of color, low-income and poor women, immigrant women, and young women to call for a policy agenda that promotes economic security and communities that thrive.

Over 1500 women will get together over the next two days in National Harbor, MD (I’m fortunate enough to be one of them, traveling with MomsRising/MamasConPoder’s delegation!)

The We Won’t Wait Collaborative is made up of 11 organizations:

All* Above All

Black Women’s Roundtable

Caring Across Nations
